Weary...

Logic says I am dead already - that I can be willing to do what is right and good, but never will.

I desire to lose logic.

But when it flees, I despair.

I suspect that's only philosophy masquerading as logic. The Truth will never leave you in despair. ;-)

Philosophy, huh? You think so?

It's hard to let go, whatever it is.

However complex - however mixed, the extremes in our makeup's seem ... we are who we are. No peace possible until we at least come to terms w/ that.

Extreme reason [logic] & extreme passion & extreme sensory can live together. Imperative that Christ be the glue that binds, each to the other -- & that He have Lordship over each - because each of these demands control. Speaking of extremes ... it is extremely wearisome. I'm sorry.

Though, I mentioned recently never having commented on your posts, in the past ... I'm sure on a role, now, eh? :-) - td

Yes, Tim, you are on a role. You have pegged it, again. Someone else said something very similar to me recently. They said I keep trying to bind these extremes with more knowledge, which offers a moment of relief but never peace. Thank you for your understanding and wise words.

something you can probably do that most can't really understand is delight in the seemingly common. I love even the word. You can probably glance over at your family ... & utterly delight, in the goodness they bring to your life. You probably see skies that force you to stop & breathe hard. You probably hear of someone's (a stranger) healing & are moved to tears. Breezes that make you close your eyes & push your face into them. Not always ... but sometimes. That's the "up". For all the burden being Ms Ultra Aware :-) definitely will bring ... there is also, the gift it offers. You will absolutely swim in beauty & wonder that most of humanity will never even notice. Dive deep! (& be Blessed)- tim

I'll try to remember that comment, Tim, the next time I am both utterly distraught and giddy with joy at the same time. :D

Are you a shrink?

nope --- simply, often "utterly distraught and giddy with joy at the same time." :-) tim

Nail on the head, dear.

I love logic. I'm supposed to make my faith so much bigger than that. But... how can I resist?
